Privacy Policy

Signegy is built on a simple principle: your documents are yours. We designed this service so that your files never leave your browser. This privacy policy explains what data we collect (spoiler: almost none) and how the service works.

1. No Data Collection

When you use Signegy to sign a PDF, the entire process happens in your browser using JavaScript. Your PDF files are never uploaded to any server. They are never transmitted over the internet. They never leave your device. Ever.

We do not collect, store, process, or have access to the contents of your documents. There is no server-side processing of your files — the application runs entirely on your machine.

2. No Cookies

Signegy does not use cookies for tracking purposes. We do not set first-party tracking cookies, and we do not use any third-party cookies. There are no cookie banners here because there are no cookies to consent to.

3. No Tracking or Analytics

We do not use Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Hotjar, or any other analytics or tracking service. There are no tracking pixels, no session recordings, no fingerprinting, and no behavioral profiling. We have no idea how you use the site, and we like it that way.

4. No Account Required

Signegy does not require you to create an account. We do not ask for your email address, your name, or any other personal information. You open the page, sign your PDF, and you're done.

5. Third-Party Services

While we do not collect data ourselves, the site relies on two third-party services that may process minimal technical data:

  • Cloudflare Pages — Signegy is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may collect basic web traffic data such as IP addresses in server logs as part of its standard infrastructure operations. This is outside of our control. You can review Cloudflare's privacy policy for details.
  • Google Fonts — We load typefaces (Outfit and Space Mono) from Google Fonts. When your browser requests these fonts, Google may receive your IP address. You can review Google's privacy policy for details.

6. Open-Source Libraries

The PDF processing in Signegy is powered by open-source libraries, including pdf.js (by Mozilla) and pdf-lib. These libraries run entirely in your browser. They do not make network requests or send data to external servers. The source code is publicly auditable.

7. Changes to This Policy

If we ever change this privacy policy, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Given that we collect no data, changes are unlikely to be significant. But we'll keep you posted.

8. Contact

If you have questions about this privacy policy or about how Signegy handles (or rather, doesn't handle) your data, you can reach us at privacy@signegy.com.
